Ike Spears is a veteran Democratic strategist who has worked with countless candidates, campaigns and public officials.
Ike is the Managing Partner with the law firm of Spears & Spears and is a Principal Partner with The Campaign Network. He is a highly sought after political consultant and advisor, with over 30 years of experience working on winning campaigns. Ikeís areas of expertise include: Strategic Messaging, Direct Mail, Opposition Research and Fundraising.
A native of New Orleans and a Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude graduate of Morehouse College (Atlanta, Georgia), Mr. Spears has been recognized for his outstanding oratorical skills and has been awarded the coveted Benjamin E. Mays Debating Prize. He earned his Juris Doctorate Degree at Tulane Law School (New Orleans, Louisiana), where he was both a Deanís Merit Scholar and Earl Warren Scholar.
Ike is a licensed attorney and an active member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He has also served on the board of numerous professional, civic and community organizations.
Ike is married to retired Judge Sonja M. Spears and the couple has two adult sons.
